Ibai

Ibai is a Spanish Twitch channel hosted by commentator and entertainer Ibai Llanos that began streaming in 2015. The channel features talk shows, gaming sessions, sports commentary, and large live events.

Llanos created the Twitch channel on February 20, 2015, while working as a professional esports announcer for the Professional Video Games League in Spain. In 2020, he joined G2 Esports as a dedicated content creator before leaving in early 2021 to stream as an independent creator alongside friends in Barcelona. Llanos co-founded the esports club KOI with former professional soccer player Gerard Piqué in December 2021. Channel streams feature multiplayer gaming in League of Legends, casual chatting, and reaction streams covering global pop culture.

The channel gained international attention for staging large live events, beginning with the boxing tournament La Velada del Año on May 26, 2021. Llanos and Piqué organized the inaugural Balloon World Cup tournament in October 2021, turning an internet game into a televised competition. In 2023, Llanos helped establish the Kings League seven-a-side soccer competition, streaming matches involving his own team, Porcinos FC. La Velada del Año III in July 2023 set a Twitch platform record by reaching over 3.4 million concurrent viewers, which La Velada del Año IV surpassed in July 2024 with 3.8 million concurrent viewers.

Soccer star Sergio Agüero appeared regularly on stream and arranged for Llanos to attend Lionel Messi's departure gathering in August 2021, leading to an interview with Messi on the channel during his official Paris presentation. Llanos also interviewed Messi at the 2023 Ballon d'Or ceremony. The channel won Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards in both 2020 and 2021. At the ESLAND Awards, Llanos won Streamer of the Year in 2022 and 2023, while Spain's Premios Ondas awarded the stream Best Entertainment Program in 2021.
