Gemischtes Hack

Gemischtes Hack is a German comedy podcast hosted by Felix Lobrecht and Tommi Schmitt that debuted in 2017. The format grew out of stand-up comedy and television writing backgrounds into an unscripted conversational program focused on personal observations and pop culture.

The first episode was published to SoundCloud on September 27, 2017. Episodes center on unscripted dialogue between the two hosts rather than formal guest interviews. Recurring segments include Fünf schnelle Fragen, where the hosts pose alternating rapid questions, and regular sharing of practical life tips. In September 2019, the podcast signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Spotify. The partnership was renewed in November 2021 for three years, and in September 2024, a video recording format was introduced from a studio in Berlin. In May 2025, episode 300 marked a contract extension guaranteeing production through 2027.

In October 2018, the hosts recorded episode 45 during a live stage show in Berlin before taking the format on a multi-city live tour across Germany. In November 2021, Schmitt and Lobrecht formed the musical act Die Sacknähte with party musician Ikke Hüftgold, releasing the single Unten kommt die Gurke rein. The track reached number 48 on the official German singles chart in December 2021, with all proceeds directed to Mediterranean sea rescue charities. Beginning in 2026, the annual summer break was discontinued, expanding yearly production to 40 regular episodes and 12 specials.

The program won the audience award for Best Entertainment at the Deutscher Podcast Preis in both 2020 and 2021. It secured the Deutscher Comedypreis for Best Comedy Podcast in 2020 and 2021, alongside the Comedy Krone at the 1LIVE Krone gala in December 2020. During 2020 and 2021, the show was the only non-English title ranked within Spotify's global top ten podcasts by listenership. By April 2026, the program ranked as the second most streamed talk podcast on Spotify worldwide, with weekly episodes consistently leading German listening charts.
