H3 Podcast

The H3 Podcast is a video podcast hosted by Ethan Klein and Hila Klein that began in 2016. The hosts developed the talk show after building an audience on their satirical channel h3h3Productions from 2011. Live recordings debuted on the streaming platform Twitch before shifting focus to YouTube in 2017.

Musician Post Malone appeared as an interview guest across multiple sessions in 2017. The channel crossed 1 million subscribers in May 2017 and surpassed 2 million subscribers in October 2018. Studio discussions cover internet culture, legal disputes, and social commentary. Segment structures expanded to include several distinct weekly shows under the channel banner, including H3 After Dark and Off the Rails. In 2020, the team introduced Content Court, a structured series where crew members presented satirical legal cases against internet personalities. A charity fundraiser episode in September 2017 collected over $100,000 for relief efforts following Hurricane Harvey.

Co-host Trisha Paytas joined for the spin-off show Frenemies in September 2020. The weekly series produced 39 episodes before financial disagreements and creative disputes led to its conclusion in June 2021. In September 2021, political commentator Hasan Piker partnered on the political series Leftovers, which aired until going on hiatus in October 2023. The channel reached 3 million subscribers in 2021. Episodes frequently examined a federal court ruling from August 2017 that favored the hosts in a fair use copyright lawsuit over reaction commentary.

The 8th Streamy Awards named the podcast Best Podcast in 2018, followed by additional nominations in the podcast category in 2019 and 2020. In-person stage events started in Los Angeles with a ticketed live show at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in December 2022. The venue hosted a return live show in December 2023 before the event moved to The Greek Theatre in June 2024. That outdoor performance drew an audience of approximately 5,000 ticket holders for live discussions, community awards, and video segments.
