HikakinTV

HikakinTV is a Japanese YouTube channel hosted by video creator Hikakin, which began in July 2011. The channel features daily video blogs, food tastings, product demonstrations, and challenge videos. Hikakin posted the initial video to the channel on July 19, 2011, after running an earlier music channel centered on human beatboxing.

Hikakin co-founded the multi-channel talent network ON SALE Inc. in June 2013, and the business changed its official name to UUUM in 2014. UUUM provided brand sponsorships and technical support for the channel, with Hikakin serving as supreme advisor. In 2013, he published an autobiographical book about his digital video work titled Boku no Shigoto wa YouTube. He introduced two Scottish Fold cats into his videos in July and October 2018, establishing a recurring video sequence centered on pet toys, food, and grooming.

HikakinTV passed 1 million subscribers in 2014 and reached 10 million subscribers on September 10, 2021, during a live video stream. The channel featured guest appearances from international celebrities during film promotions, including an interview with actor Will Smith in 2019 for the movie Gemini Man. Hikakin also collaborated on videos with fellow creator Hajime Syacho and his brother Seikin. In August 2021, Hikakin produced a hide-and-seek competition video featuring 22 online creators, which recorded over 10 million views in one week.

In May 2020, Hikakin established a medical support fund with Yahoo Japan through his channel, collecting over 370 million yen from 216,295 individual contributors. The Japanese government awarded him the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon in 2021 for his public welfare donations. In May 2023, he launched an instant ramen brand named Hikakin Premium with Nissin Foods, selling Miso Kin noodles through 7-Eleven convenience stores. He took a break from regular video uploads in April 2023 to prepare the product release.
